About Us

Fab-Weld Steel, LLC has been in the structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication business since November of 1984. The company started with three principals, Don Waldrop, Steve Grauel and Mike Satterwhite and has grown to a team of constant growth. The company started on leased property in a 2,400 square foot leased building. We now proudly own 12.5 acres of land with our own fabrication shop, process shop and miscellaneous steel shop, totaling almost 50,000 square feet. Recently, we purchased a new PythonX CNC Robotic Plasma machine, that is housed in our new shop expansion. This has expanded our capabilities tremendously.

From humble beginnings to where we stand now, we are proud that we have always treated our employees and our customers in a way in which we would want to be treated. We have developed a skilled management team and a valued customer base through 40+ years of service to the steel industry.

We provide quality service and materials for general contractors nationwide. We specialize in projects upwards to $30 million. Our preference is to do work in the Southeastern part of the United States, but we are willing to travel anywhere and occasionally ship overseas. We are AISC Certified for Standard Steel Building Structures.

Our project managers are experienced in working with most any steel erector to make your job run smooth.
